O amor antigo vive de si mesmo,
não de cultivo alheio ou de presença.
Nada exige nem pede. Nada espera,
mas do destino vão nega a sentença.
O amor antigo tem raízes fundas,
feitas de sofrimento e de beleza.
Por aquelas mergulha no infinito,
e por estas suplanta a natureza.
Se em toda parte o tempo desmorona
aquilo que foi grande e deslumbrante,
a antigo amor, porém, nunca fenece
e a cada dia surge mais amante.
Mais ardente, mas pobre de esperança.
Mais triste? Não. Ele venceu a dor,
e resplandece no seu canto obscuro,
tanto mais velho quanto mais amor.

Fourty five past six I’m going school
People seem to smile think I’m crazy or fool
But I don’t care, why should I mind
If today I’m seeing you?
And last saturday I got happy
I got what I’ve been wishing
And that’s why I’m smiling alone
That’s why I’m happy whistling
(assobio)
Mr. Blue Eyes, don’t, don’t go away
(assobio)
Look at the skyes like we did last saturday
Something like midday I’m going home
People seem impressed, it make me feel alone
But I don’t care, why should I mind
if to say goodbye I can hug you?
And last saturday I got happy
I got what I’ve been wishing
And that’s why I’m smiling alone
That’s why I’m happy whistling
(assobio)
Mr. Blue Eyes, don’t go away
Look at the skyes like we did last saturday
Mr. Blue Eyes you were all right
So why do you have to start another fight?
I don’t care I don’t mind ’cause you’ll do it every night
I say that…
Last saturday I got happy
I got what I’ve been wishing
And that’s why I’m smiling alone
That’s why I’m happy whistling
(assobio)
Mr. Blue eyes don’t go away
Look at the skyes like we did last saturday
(papapa)
And last saturday I got happy
I got what I’ve been wishing
And that’s why I’m smiling alone
That’s why I’m happy whistling
